The LEAGUE recently welcomed some new Miami Dade County teachers into the program. Thanks in part to the generosity of the John L and James F Knight Foundation, Mickie Rinehart who is the LEAGUE's Director of Field Operations, conducted The LEAGUE’s Service Learning Fisher Training for 34 teachers representing 21 Miami Dade schools. The day was filled with lots of information, videos, games and fun. The students of Mast Academy even came in on their day off to help prepare lunch for all the training participants.
